What what what? WHAT?! It's a thing! An update thing! Do not be alarmed!

This afternoon, I was struck by an overwhelming urge to write for the first time in what is now a months-long creative slump. Instead I edited this particular piece, which has been languishing on my hard drive for months. It's still a little rough around the edges and hasn't graduated from my usual rigorous editing sessions, but I think it's in readable shape!
